Story Trails

Take a walk and read a story as you go! Story trails are a fun, free local activity for both children and adults, and an opportunity to explore the wonder and excitement of reading while getting some fresh air.

No need to register, just show up and read! Find more information about Story Trails here.

Literacy Activity Calendars

Each month, Palliser publishes two literacy activity calendars filled with activities for you to share with your child! There's an Early Literacy Activity Calendar for infants and pre-school children, and a Children's Literacy Activity Calendar for elementary-aged children. Download and print your own, or pick up a printed copy from your local library branch.

Each calendar includes: a literacy-promoting activity for each day, a literacy tip, rhymes and/or puzzles, and book recommendations to get you started.
