CELA (Centre for Equitable Library Access)

CELA provides us with some accessible materials to add to our catalogue. But if you have a print disability, you may qualify for access to the entire CELA catalogue!

Print disabilities can be...

  • Visual: such as low vision, blindness, or recovering from eye surgery
  • Physical: anything that makes it hard to hold a physical book, such as arthritis, cerebral palsy, MS, Parkinson’s, or ALS
  • Learning: anything that makes it hard to understand or remember the words you read, such as dyslexia or autism

If any of the above apply to you, visit CelaLibrary.ca/Register 

You will need a library card. No proof of disability is required upon registration.

 

NNELS (National Network for Equitable Library Service)

NNELS provides us with some accessible materials to add to our catalogue. But if you have a print disability, you may qualify for access to the entire NNELS catalogue!
