Library Cards

When you become a member of Palliser Regional Library you will be issued a Library Card. If you lose or damage your library card, you can get another for a $3.00 replacement fee.

What Can I Do With My Library Card?

Your Library Card allows you to access all of the services offered by Palliser Regional Library. You will need your card to borrow materials from the library such as books, tapes, CDs, and DVDs.

When you are issued a card, you are also given a PIN. Your PIN is automatically the last four digits of your phone number, unless you ask that it be changed to something else. You can use your card and PIN to renew items and place holds online using My Account. You can also find magazine and newspaper articles online through our Online Databases. If you can't find the item you are looking for in Palliser Regional Library, try using The Gateway and request an item through interlibrary loan.

Use your Library Card Anywhere in Saskatchewan

Valid library card holders may borrow materials from any public library in the province, provided those materials are not restricted by the lending library's loan policy. Borrowing may be done in person (reciprocal borrowing) or through interlibrary loan. The lending library, at its discretion, has the right to refuse to lend items and to place certain restrictions on materials it does lend.

Palliser Regional Library will in turn honour library cards from other Saskatchewan Library Systems. Patrons already holding library cards from other systems will not be issued an additional library card by Palliser.
