New Programs

• TD Summer Reading Club: Destination Jungle program
  Ages 4 & 5 years – Every Thursday afternoon from 1:00 – 2:00pm
  Ages 6-8 years – Every Thursday Afternoon from 2:30 – 4:00pm
  Program includes stories, games, crafts and snacks!
  Registration is appreciated, but not required!
• PLAN (Prairie Literacy Awareness Network)
  The Born To Read program promotes early learning and literacy for infants and young children. Stop by the library for a lovely free gift for all those with new or expected additions to their family near & far!
• Think Recycle gives you a chance to help the environment AND our local library. Drop off your old ink or laser cartridges as well as old cell phones at the library. For every 24 products collected, “Think Recycle” plants a tree on our behalf through “Tree Canada” and there are monetary recycling rewards for our library too.
• T.A.G. you’re IT!!
  Why not join our new Teen Advisory Group to plan great stuff for teens @ the library? Call Giselle @ 267-3260 to join or watch for meeting dates & just drop in to check it out. Bring your ideas & your friends!

Ongoing Programs

• Moms and Tots Coffee Time - Monday from 9:30 - 11:30, $1.00/person
  Moms, join us for coffee and a visit while your young children learn to interact and play with others.
• Reading Circle
  Fun time for preschoolers. Join us at the library Thursday mornings at 10:00. $1 drop-in fee. Children under 3 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Book Bonders - meet the first Monday each month at 7:00 p.m. to discuss their latest novel. New members welcome.
  March’s selection is Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay. Why not get yourself a copy to read; then join Book Bonders on March 26 at 7:30 pm to share your views.
• Computers 1 on 1 – Never used a computer or just getting started? We can help! Free 1 on 1 sessions. Register at the library or call us @ 267-3260.
• Web 2.0 – Ready for the next level? Would you like to learn how to use eBay, Facebook, Hotmail, Google, etc.
  Register for a free 1 on 1 appointment at the library & you’ll soon be cruisin’ the net!
• Reading Buddies – would your Kindergarten, Gr. 1, 2 or 3 child like to read with a teen? Call the library for info.
• Books on Wheels - Mobile service for less mobile residents. If you or a family member are interested in reading and can't get to the library, this service is for you!

• E-mail and Text notification - Would you like to be notified of overdues, holds, etc. by e-mail or text? Sign up or call the library to be added to the list.
